Mary Theresa Bruhn's Obituary
Mary Theresa Bruhn departed this life on May 25th, 2013 at the Spring Arbor Assisted Living Home in Leesburg, Va. She was 87 Years old.
She was born September 1925 in Mt Savage Maryland to Leona and Clement Reagan. She was raised in Mt. Savage Maryland. Later she moved to Washington, D.C. She was assigned to Athens, Greece where she met her husband to be Earl E. Bruhn. They returned to Washington, D. C., and were married in 1957. They were both assigned to the Island of Cyprus, where their three children Michael, Valerie and Mark were born.
Mary was an avid lover of traveling and travelled privately with her husband and family through Europe, The Holy Land, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Panama.
She was a devoted Mother loving wife and devout Catholic. She is survived by her husband Earl of 56 years, son Michael, daughter Valerie, son-in-law John Youngblood, two grand children Cody and Colton Youngblood, step granddaughters, Amanda, husband Ryan, Jessie Youngblood, sisters Sarah Newman and Catherine, brother-in-law Hal Rhoads brothers-in-laws Lyle, Lloyd, wife Phyllis, Donald, wife Linda, Edward, wife Laura; sisters-in-law Eileen, husband Don, and Dorothy Murphy and many friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by a son Mark, a brother Clement Reagan, Sisters Eleanor Baker and Mildred Clark.
A memorial Mass will be held at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, 231 North King Street, Leesburg, Virginia 20176, (on the corner of King and Union Streets) on May 31st 2013 at 10:30 a.m.
A reception will follow in celebration of her life after the mass at the home of her daughter and Son-in-law at 43294 Creekbank Court, Leesburg VA. Ashes will be interred privately at Mt Savage Catholic Cemetery, in Mt Savage, Maryland at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, National Capital Area Chapter, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
