Mary C. Frye's Obituary
Mary C. Frye, 95 passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Woodland Assisted Living Home in Lovettsville, VA. Born Sunday, August 31, 1924 in Lovettsville, VA, she was the daughter of the late David Wilmer and the late Mary Aileen (English) Frye. After graduating from Lovettsville High School, Mary started her secretarial career working at the Navy Department in Washington D.C. She later worked on Capitol Hill. She took pride in her working association with the former Arizona Senator Carl Hayden. Mary received many comments on her ability and skill to do shorthand. She enjoyed her many visits to Arizona, Idaho and places overseas. Mary lived the majority of her life in Washington D.C. and many of her weekends were spent on the family farm in Lovettsville. One of her favorite places in D.C. was the former Marrocco's Italian Restaurant. She is survived by her brother, Larry D. Frye(Juanita) of Leesburg, VA, sister in law Anna Frye, brother in law Thomas Heflin, nieces Angela and Amie Frye, grandniece Brittany Brown, nephews Kevin and Tony Frye and grandnephews Jeffrey and David Frye. She was preceded in death by sisters: Rita Jane Frye and Harriet Lorraine Heflin and brothers: Glenn Austin Frye and Howard Leonard Frye. Loudoun Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Private services will be held at a later date
