Mary Giovenco's Obituary
Mary Giovenco, 84 of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Arden Courts of Fair Oaks in Fairfax, Virginia.
Born Sunday, September 9, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Nicola Bianco and the late Adelina Dunza Bianco.
Mary was a devoted wife for 61 years of Salvatore Giovenco who predeceased her in October of 2012.
She enjoyed sewing and worked as a seamstress for the A&S Department Store in NY.
She was a beloved mother, sister, and Nanny.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Rosemarie Caravana of Leesburg, VA, Diane Fasano and son in law Robert of Bethpage, NY and Terri Degennaro and her partner Kevin Charkowick of East Islip, NY, siblings, Rose Diglio of Greenville, SC, Tessi Palmigiano of Greenville, SC, Jennie Buscaglia of Greenville, SC , Sabino Bianco of Hampton Bays, NY, and Ann Rice of Greenville, SC.
She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and her sister in law Marie Curran of Brooklyn, NY, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Funeral services will begin at 5:30 PM on Friday at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175. The family will receive friends before the services from 4 to 5:30pm at the funeral home.
Interment will be held privately at a later date.
