I just got back from the service and reception which were beautiful. The family shared thoughts and memories at the reception and everything they said about how loving and positive and strong and caring Mary was was absolutely true. I met Mary when I started working for Deltek in 1993. The company was still pretty small back then and very much a family and Mary definitely contributed to that feeling of family. I remember all our "Pigs" lunches, stopping by her office just to chat where there would always be two or three people to join in. Well, she did always have candy on hand :) . I remember us trying not to get too loud with our chatter and laughter so we wouldn't be busted. On a personal note, she used to babysit my then-toddler daughter when we needed a babysitter. Mary and I also ran about 3 or so 10ks together in the early 90s. I found some pics from two of those runs that I will try and post to Facebook at some point. She was such a dear friend and a wonderful person. That so many folks that worked, or still work as I do, at Deltek that attended the service is a testament to how she affected so many lives and how she is loved. I know she will continue to be an influence in my life until the day I die. Especially when things get tough for me. I am going to try and think WWMD (What Would Mary Do?) and then just do that.
Much love to you Kevin and Tori and the Nelson and Miller families.
Love,
Julia Rash (nee Allen)

As a classmate Of Mary at BRHS, I want to send my sympathy, on behalf of the class of 1975. I always remember her big smile and how kind she was to everyone. Even though I had not seen her in many years she was never forgotten. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
