Mary Frances Townsend, 83 of Herndon, VA, originally from Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on December 21, 2017. She is survived by her devoted son Herman Steverson (Steve) Townsend, Jr. (Michelle), brothers Kenny Johnson (Cott), Carl Johnson, sister Margaretta Worthington, goddaughter Shanell Evans, grandsons Cameron Nichols and Dakota Bailey, granddaughter Chelsea Donnelly, great-grandchildren Claire, Brayden and Alexis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Herman Steverson Townsend, Sr. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017, 1:00 pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cr.
