Mary J. Kestner's Obituary
MRS. MARY J. KESTNER, 88, a life long resident of Loudoun County, died on Friday March 28, 2008 in Aldie, Virginia. Mrs. Kestner was born December 23, 1919 in Leesburg, VA to the late Clarence and Nettie Rinker James. Her husband Charlie M. Kestner in 1984, a daughter Ellen Carter, a grandson Chet Hucks, a great grand daughter Kylee Huston, two sisters and three brothers also predeceased her. Mrs. Kestner worked in foodservice with Loudoun Hospital during the 1950’s and later operated the Hut Restaurant on Rt. 50 in Arcola, VA during the 1970’s.
Mrs. Kestner is survived by her four children: Jane Hucks of Orlando, FL, Glen Weatherholtz of Casselberry, FL, Vernon Weatherholtz of Costa Rica, Michael Kestner of Aldie, VA; a companion: Horace Gant of Herndon, VA; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapels 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA from 7-9pm on Tuesday April 1, 2008. Services will follow at 11:00am on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Joseph Adams officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery Leesburg.
