Mary Jane Ballard's Obituary
Mary Jane (Reingruber) Ballard, 79, of Ashburn, Virginia, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg, Virginia. Born on May 22, 1927 in Washington, DC. She was the daughter of the late James F. Reingruber and the late Mary Reingruber. Mary Jane was a life long resident of Northern VA. A long time member of St. Johns Catholic Church in McLean, until moving to Ashburn to be closer to her family. Mrs. Ballard’s passion for life was in her church, her faith and her family.
She is survived by her husband Bernard Reuben Ballard of Ashburn; nine children: Karen Normandy of Ashburn, Joyce Philips of Atlanta, GA, Jean Nowakowski of Ashburn, David Ballard of McLean, Robert Ballard of Herndon, Colleen Vidaurre of Fairfax,
Suzanne Ballard of Centreville, Lisa Vaughn of McLean, Greg Ballard of Richmond, and
Twenty-one grandchildren, and three brothers.
Mrs. Ballard was predeceased by her brother, Eugene Reingruber.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, Virginia, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, May 20, 2007. A Funeral mass will be held at St. Theresa Church, 21370 St. Theresa Lane, Ashburn, VA 20147, at 10:00 AM Monday, May 21, 2007. Interment will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park in Fairfax, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, donations, may be made in Mr. Ballard’s memory to St. Theresa Church building fund, or to a charity of the sender’s choice.
