Mary Virginia Shockley's Obituary
MARY VIRGINIA SHOCKLEY, 84, lifelong resident of Loudoun County, VA died on Monday, January 31st 2011 in Manassas, VA. Miss Shockley was born March 30th 1926 in Arcola, VA to the late Jay and Rachael Shockley. She graduated with the class of 1944 from Aldie High School. Miss Shockley was a member of the Arcola United Methodist Church. She worked with C&P Telephone for many years and was later the Postmaster in Arcola.
Miss Shockley is survived by a niece, Kim Croson, three nephews, D. Jay Wimer, Gy Wimer and Ty Wimer and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Friday, February 4th 2011 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg from 10am until time of services at 11:00am with Rev. Chris Riedel officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Aldie.
