Matthew Wayne Flynn's Obituary
Matthew Wayne Flynn, 29, of Culpeper, VA, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017.
He was born on February 24, 1988 in Leesburg, VA. He was the son of Robert Flynn and Linda Parsell. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Betty Caylor Jones, step grandfather Alan Jones and great-grandmother Lillie KernsTavenner.
In addition to his parents Matthew is survived by his son Declan, daughter Alannah, his brother Kevin Flynn, niece Alyssa, nephew Damion, girlfriend Cherish Posey, uncle David Parsell, grandfather Thurman Parsell, and cousins Brandi Harrison and Chad Parsell.
Matt was the greatest father. His life revolved around his children. He was a huge sports fan. He loved the home teams but mostly the Redskins. He also enjoyed playing video games.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roland England officiating. Burial will follow at Leesburg Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family on behalf of Matt’s Children.
