My dear friend Linda, Steve, and Alex

While I never met Matt in person, I felt like I knew him through your stories and anecdotes throughout the years while we worked together at USA Rice. There were always stories on Monday’s of you and Matt ‘tromping thru the woods’, turning over rocks, and looking for ‘peepers’. I even learned a few things about nature from your weekends together even though I wasn’t there.

You always spoke so proudly of your boys and with such love. Your eyes just shine when you speak of them.

You are all so fortunate to have each other. May Matt’s presence accompany you on your walk thru life, whenever you are in nature, and in your treatment and recovery. He will be there holding you up.

Matthew you will be missed ! I remember when you were 10 or 11 maybe Grandma brought you to CA to visit me and Cory . It was a great visit , we did so many fun things ! You drove Grandma a little crazy but that made me laugh !

I never had younger siblings but cousin Matthew was 9 years younger. Although we lived on separate coasts Sara and I spent many summers coming to visit. I remember when he was a baby. It’ was a rainy camping trip with the whole family. He ate his first cookie. I remember when he got older coming over to grandmas and we would all play together. Or we would come over to Steve and Linda’s and just explore their back yard. Frankly all his crazy creepy animals scared me 😳 but he loved them. Matt was one of a kind and will be missed. ❤️
