Maureen Ann O'Neill's Obituary
Maureen Ann O'Neill, 77, of Ashburn, Virginia, passed away peacefully in her husband’s arms on August 22, 2024.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, James (Jim) O'Neill, who shared a lifetime of love and memories with her. Maureen was the proud and devoted mother of Jennifer Curran (Sean) and Michael (Melissa). Her legacy continues through her five cherished grandchildren: Michael, Jack, and Katie Curran, and Hannah and Haley O'Neill, who were the lights of her life.
For nearly 50 years, Maureen's greatest joy was traveling with her family to the Outer Banks, a tradition that began in 1975 and became a cornerstone of their lives. She found immense happiness in these trips, creating memories that will forever be treasured by those who loved her. Maureen also had a deep passion for animals, and over the years, she lovingly cared for numerous pets, treating them as true members of her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Maureen's name to Loudoun County Animal Services, ensuring that her love for animals continues to make a difference.
Maureen will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
