Maurice Gilmore Brumm's Obituary
On this day, July 7, 2023, Maurice Gilmore Brumm passed away peacefully at his home in Ashburn, Virginia. At his passing, he was 90 years old. He was preceded in death by his Father Maurice, his Mother Margaret and a Brother Roger and his wife Gail. He is survived by his wife of more than 70 years, Frances Jennings Brumm, sons Robert and his wife MaryLeone, Stephen, Timothy and his fiancé Carol. Also survived by his Sister Dorothy, his Brother James and his wife Moonean and his Brother Bruce. Grandfather of 6 and Great Grandfather of 13.
Maury, was a long time employee of The Department of Interior, a decorated Veteran of the Korean War, amateur photographer and lover of all things Corvette. Most of all… he was a ball player! He actively played in many men’s semi-pro leagues, both football and baseball into his 50’s. Avid Nationals fan as well as the Washington Football Team.
There will be a simple grave side service performed, but no dates have been set.
