Maxie James Triola, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2019 surrounded by family at his home in Ashburn, VA. Max was born in Stafford, Texas to the late Catherine and Christopher Triolo where he grew up with his la Read Obituary
I shared an office with Max at the US Geological Survey in Reston. Max was very fond of carrot cakes, using every event at the Survey, birthday, birth, departure, anniversary- to bake, and share a carrot cake.
I never had a carrot cake ever again.
Max was a good man. Dedicated to his family and to his profession.

Dear Pat,
Deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of Max. You and he have been my spiritual friends since I first met you two at the first St. Theresa mass at Broad Run HS, if not before at Christ the Redeemer. I am still at camp in Maine, but a friend collects my mail and sends to me, and I look through the Loudoun Times. How sad I was to see Max's photo, but also filled with warm memories.

Max was our person at St Theresa when the Scout Troop was started. He was our mentor, friend, and our compass to make it successful. Probably nicest person I haver ever known.
Whenever I would see his face or hear his voice, I would think of my mom. He was and is always My Favorite Uncle Max!
