Maxine Virginia Baker's Obituary
Maxine Virginia Baker, 85 of Woodbridge, Virginia died on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Greenspring Village in Springfield, Virginia.
Maxine was born on Monday, August 13, 1928 in Brunswick, MD and raised in Lovettsville, VA. She was a daughter of the late Milton Lee Holler and the late Mildred Michaels Holler.
She was the wife of the late Frederick O. Baker who predeceased her in October of 2002.
The couple lived in Hyattsville, MD for over 50 years. Maxine had many hobbies including painting floral china and enjoyed teaching others how to paint.
She leaves her family to cherish her memory including her son, Don and daughter-in-law Susan Baker of Woodbridge, VA; her two grandchildren, Keith and wife Emily Baker of Manassas, VA, and Kara and husband Jimmie Stafford, Jr., of Locust Grove, VA. She also leaves 4 great grandchildren Brittney and Brandon Baker, and April and Anna Stafford; three nieces, Midge Caito, Lucille Kitts, Roberta Holler Simmons; two nephews; Jimmy and Tommy Dixon.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, Virginia. A small prayer service will be held around 3:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Greenspring Village 7470 Spring Village Drive Springfield, VA 22150.
Graveside services and Interment will be held on Monday June 30, 2014 at 11 am, in Lovettsville Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA, with Pastor Joel Guttormson officiating.
