Michael Allison's Obituary
MICHAEL ALLISON, 46, of Ocean City, Maryland, formerly of Prince William County, Virginia died on Friday, April 22, 2011 in Salisbury, MD. Mr. Allison was born March 22, 1965 in Washington, DC. He was raised in Alexandria, VA and attended Mt. Vernon High. Mr. Allison operated American Contractors and Specialty Roofing in Northern Virginia from the 1970’s to the mid 1990’s. Moving to Maryland in 1995 he opened Roof Doctor, Inc. and operated it until the present. Mr. Allison was an avid fisherman but he loved drag racing, boat racing and listening to the blues. Several years ago he raced his own car at Old Dominion Race Track and in Fairfax County.
Mr. Allison is survived by his beloved mother: Barbara Ann Kitts Allison Rohloff of Ocean City, MD; a sister: Dena A. Holloway (Lee); uncles: William (Billy) M. Kitts, Delaney R. Kitts (Debbie), Robert P. Allison (Shirley), Bennie F. Allison (Pauline); Aunt: Thelma Allison Hurst; Sister in Law: Susan Powell Allison and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father: George W. Allison, Jr.; two brothers: Thomas Ryan Allison and George W. Allison, III; grandparents: George Melvin and Sara Kitts, George William and Susie Allison and his step father John Robert Rohloff.
Friends may call on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE in Leesburg, VA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00pm. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
