Michael Allan Guy's Obituary
Michael Allan Guy, 59, of Sterling, VA, lost his battle with lung cancer on Saturday, February 21, 2015.
Born on January 28, 1956 in Washington DC and raised in Edgewater, MD and graduated from Southern High School in Harwood, MD. He was employed with Loomis Armoured Cars; Hughes Plumbing; Dietze Construction Co and Wegmans of Leesburg. He is preceded in death by his father, Edwin Guy and niece, Ashley O’Riordan.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Sterling; stepson, Jack McCall; sons, Christopher of Churchton, MD and Tyler of Falling Waters, WV; daughter, Michelle of Shady Side, MD; four grandchildren of Maryland, Devin, Gabrielle, Nicholas and Michael; mother, Shirley Guy of Edgewater, MD; brothers, Bill of Shady Side, MD and Warren (Dumps) of Edgewater, MD; sister Diana Lynn O'Riordan of Edgewater, MD; along with many nieces, nephews, and his beloved Hampton.
A memorial service was be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Mayo United Methodist Church, 1005 Old Turkey Point Rd Edgewater, MD 21037.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 124 Park Street, SE Vienna, VA 22180.
