Michael Kevin McIntosh's Obituary
Michael Kevin McIntosh, 49 of Boyce, Virginia passed on Monday, January 18, 2016, at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan, Georgia, after complications of lung cancer.
Michael was born Thursday, January 12, 1967 in Leesburg, Virginia. He was the youngest son of the late Charles McIntosh and the late Barbara Matthew McIntosh. He was a graduate of Loudoun County High School class of 1985. He received his Aviation Maintenance Technology, AST degree from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, in 1987.
After graduation, Michael went to work with Dowty, until becoming Safran Messier-Bugatti-Dowty in Sterling, VA; where he was employed for the last 29 years as a master mechanic, then as a Senior Field Support Engineer.
He leaves his family to cherish his memory including his brothers, Charles S. McIntosh (Shirley) and Jeffrey B. McIntosh, his sister, Teri Jackson (David); 5 nephews, Michael, Jason, Joey, Dustin, and Juddson; 2 nieces, Crystal and Katie; 1 great nephew, Liam; plus many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved dog Audrey.
Michael enjoyed riding his Harley, going on fishing trips, hunting, bowling and playing the guitar. He was fortunate to be a world traveler thru his career. He was able to see many awesome places that many of us only dream of.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, Virginia.
A Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175 with the Rev. Alan Stanford officiating.
Interment will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
