I would like extend my sincere condolences to the Terpak family. I worked with Mike as a young budget analyst with the District government in the early nineties. He was always kind and helpful to me. He shared his many years of experience with me as new hire.
He also invited our Budget Office to his family farm for a retreat/office party. He opened up his home to us. I remember meeting his lovely wife and children at the time. I'm from the country in Texas and that was such a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of the city.
I'm a Black Man, although it shouldn't matter, Mike and his family were kind to me and others like me who attended the retreat at his family home. I will always remember Mike...
Mike was a GOOD MAN...
