Michael William Washington, 67, of Ashburn, Virginia, passed away on April 6, 2026.
Born on May 12, 1958, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Michael was the son of the late Clarence Floyd Washington and Mary Louise Washington.
Michael will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Diane Washington; his oldest daughter, Jennell (Timothy) Lowry; his son, Adam Washington; and his youngest daughter, Amber (Christopher) Plouffe. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to four grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his sister, Teresa Andrews, and his brother, Clarence (Donna) Washington. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Andrews.
A dedicated husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Michael found his greatest happiness in time spent with his family. He especially cherished trips to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where he created lasting memories surrounded by the people he loved most.
Michael will be remembered for his love of family, his steady presence, and the quiet ways he showed he cared. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in those who knew him.
The family will receive extended family and friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 12th, 2026, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will be held to celebrate Michael's life at St. Theresa's Church at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 13th, 2026.
