Michael Lee Shamla's Obituary
MICHAEL LEE SHAMLA, 53, of Leesburg, Virginia formerly of Falls Church, Virginia died on Monday, June 13th 2011 in Reston, Virginia. Mr. Shamla was born January 8th 1958 in Fargo, ND to the late Alva Louise Hayes Shamla and Mr. Gerald Byron Shamla. Mr. Shamla founded Main Street Appraisers of Leesburg in 2002. He enjoyed muscle cars including his Supper Bee but his true love was animals. He frequented the Reston and Leesburg Dog Parks with his two boxers, Cosmo and Clarabelle.
Mr. Shamla is survived by his beloved father and step mother: Gerald Byron and Noreene Shamla of Leesburg; two sisters: Peggy Douglas of Centreville, VA, Shari Lane of Broken Arrow, OK; a special aunt: Deb Maschoff and family; two nephews: Brian and Sean Douglas; two nieces: Elise Lane, Elaine Brown; a longtime friend: Ginny Leser and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 17th 2011 at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 231 North King Street, Leesburg, VA. Interment will be in Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD on Saturday, June 18th at 11:30am.
