Michelle Princess Alvarez's Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Michelle “Bea” “BZ” “Princess” “Bear” Alvarez.
Bz was the strongest person, carrying us through all of life’s lows with a laugh that could be heard from another room. She loved the Muppets, Snoopy & Peanuts, and matching every outfit with the same colored shoes and bag (seriously, if you knew her, she had a color of the day and never strayed away from that). Not only was Michelle an incredible friend and sister, she loved her nieces and nephews more than anything. She never let you live a day without feeling the love she had for you. Bz loved everyone around her (though on Sundays she’d prefer if you didn’t call her) and especially loved her animals and family. Her infectious laugh and spirit will be noticeably absent; no one could ever compare. She is now with her father Floyd catching up in heaven along with all her fur babies that made it across the rainbow bridge. Though we wish we had more time with her, we know that she is pain-free and enjoying an unsweetened iced tea on the beaches of heaven (with sweet n’ low, obviously). She was the glue that kept us from falling apart. Nothing will ever compare to the memories we shared with her, stories that will last longer than us. Someone once said, “what is grief, if love not persevering”. Grief isn't the end of love, but rather the persistent existence of that love in the face of loss. She is survived by her mother, Kay Alvarez, siblings Catherine Bullard and Geoff Alvarez, sister in law Jennifer Alvarez, nieces and nephews, and her cat Sprinkles, who will all remember her infectious laugh and unforgettable presence.
