I pray the fond memories each of you shared with your dear and beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend throughout the years bring a smile to your face, joy in your hearts, hope for your future, gratitude for his wisdom and presence, and abundant blessings to your lives.

One of my greatest appreciations for Mitch's management style during the time Mitch was my senior manager is he always "Kept it Simple" in accomplishing the work we did to serve internal and external customers, and Americas taxpayers. Thank You Mitch!

I first met Mitch when I came to the IRS as an intern in 2002. He was a wealth of knowledge and could give an impressive elevator speech about everything Publishing. My first day he walked me around and introduced me to all my co-workers. He always had a smile on his face and a funny story from the "Good old days." I even got to see his coveted piece of Lambeau Field turf he kept in his office. He convinced me to take leadership classes, and I blame him for all my management stress these days. Haha. Without him, I'd be a happy GS-12 analyst somewhere in Publishing. Instead, he pushed me to try my hand at management, and even though it's stressful, it's been great using the skills he taught me in frontline leadership class. It was so sad to hear of his passing. My prayers are with the Farah family.

I work with Mitch for several years in IRS Media Publication.He was a nice man! I’ll always remember Mitch for the way he made people feel welcomed. When we came to visit, lll never forget when he proudly showed us around DC like a true tour guide sharing a place he loved. He got us into see all of the monuments and sites and it's a memory I'll always hold onto.
Another one is when me, my dad and Mitch all went fishing when he was on a business trip in San Diego. My dad and I picked him up from his hotel in the bay and he just hopped on the boat, no questions asked. We ended up having one of our best days of fishing ever, catching a bunch of yellowtail, and having an absolutely epic day on the water. I like to think that's what they're out doing together now. Mitch will be greatly missed and I'll be sure to raise a glass everytime I see the Packers on the tv.

We shared many wonderful memories growing up and even attending college together. Especially memorable were our times deer hunting over 25 years together. Mitch was known for filling our doe tag and providing venison for the hunting group which was much appreciated. You will be missed brother and will be with me hunting and watching Packers games.
