Myrna Joy Hall's Obituary
Myrna Joy Hall, 64, of Leesburg, VA, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at her residence after a long illness.
Born at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, HI, in 1949, she was the daughter of Roland Grady Dorman and the late Margaret Dorman. She is predeceased by her brothers Martin, Gary, and Sean Dorman; and her sister Judy, who passed away in November, 2013.
Myrna served in the Navy from 1968 to 1971, and was stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI. She was a dental technician.
During this time, she met and married Burton Hall in Honolulu, HI, in 1970. Myrna graduated from George Mason University in 1978, with a degree in physical education, with honors. She worked in Configuration Management with BTG in Tysons Corner. Myrna, often referred to as Joy, had the best laugh, the brightest smile, and the biggest heart. She enjoyed playing soccer and softball; as well as gardening, bird watching, reading, yoga, movies, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, and watching the Redskins.
In addition to her father, Myrna is survived by her husband Burton Hall of Leesburg, VA; two daughters, Christina Romich and Malia Hall, 1 granddaughter, Addison Romich, son–in-law, Robert Romich.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Leesburg Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home.
