Nada L. Grimes' Obituary
NADA LOWRY GRIMES, 90 of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024.
Born Tuesday, November 14, 1933 in Leesburg, Virginia to the late James Raymond Lowry and Virginia Earle Lowry.
She was preceded in death by her loving Husband of more than fifty years, William R. Grimes (Billy), who passed in 2001. She was also predeceased by her daughter Nannette Gay Grimes who passed in February of this year.
Nada leaves behind her Daughter-in-Law, Mimi McKennan, along with many other family and friends.
Nada was a 1st grade school teacher in Loudoun County for thirty-five years and called Catoctin Elementary School her “home”. She retired in 1988 and she and Billy enjoyed many years traveling, spending summers in Leesburg and winters in Saint Cloud, Florida.
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 12 noon at Loudoun Funeral Chapel. 158 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. She will be laid to rest at Leesburg Union Cemetery. 323 N King St, Leesburg, VA 20176.
