My father wrote this song for the people of Iran in the year Neda Agha Soltan was killed. He was a brilliant composer, an extraordinarily gifted multi-instrumentalist, and had a truly beautiful voice.

My condolences to the Majd family for the loss of beloved Nader Majd whom I got to know him since 2002 being my daughter's violin instructor. He will be missed dearly.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Nader and I were colleagues at the World Bank, and though I only met him a few times, I was deeply touched by his kindness and gentle spirit. His inspiring music also reached msny of us from afar and left a lasting impression. He will be dearly missed.
