Nancy Jean White's Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Jean White of Sterling, Virginia, who loved to talk to and spend time with people, cherished her weekly Bible study and doted on her grandchildren, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. She was 73.
She was born Tuesday, September 30, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a daughter of the late Daniel J. Stallings and the late Dorothy Appleby Stallings. She is predeceased by her husband William Arthur White who passed in 2006.
Known by all as Jean, she worked for the Department of Planning and Zoning as a receptionist for the County of Loudoun until her retirement.
She was extremely proud of her family. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Chris Sledjeski of Leesburg, VA; her son, Ken White of Sterling, VA; and her four grandchildren: Brianna, Christopher, Kendall and Madison.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
A Mass for Christian burial will begin at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 17 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church located at 55 Oak Crest Manor Drive, NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA, where she will be buried next to her husband.
Flowers, one of Jean’s loves, may be sent. The family also encourages friends and family to donate to the charity of the sender’s choice in Jean’s honor.
