Naomi Fern Hamilton's Obituary
NAOMI FERN HAMILTON, 78, a resident of Loudoun County for 72 years, presently of Purcellville, VA died on Thursday December 31, 2009 in Leesburg, VA. Mrs. Hamilton was born December 9, 1931 in Laurel County, Kentucky to the late Thomas R. and Mattie H. Truitt Marcum. A daughter Brenda Pierson also predeceased her.. Mrs. Hamilton was very Artistic and worked at Morven Park Equestrian Center during the late 1970’s as a cook. She will be remembered for her gourmet cooking and artistic abilities.
Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her three children: Dawn Yvonne Stickman of Yellow Spring, WV, Adrienne Cotton of Georgetown, CA, Tom Hamilton of Brunswick, MD; two sister: June Jennings of Richmond, VA, Patsy Gilreadh of Saltillo, MS; one brother: O.D. Marcum of Lovettsville, VA; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Brown-Loudoun Funeral Chapel 34 East Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA on Monday January 4th from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday January 5th at Zion Lutheran Church, 38011 Morrisonville Road, Lovettsville, VA with Rev. Andreas Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Mt Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery.
