Natalie Gale Evancheck's Obituary
NATALIE GALE EVANCHECK (SINGLETON)
Age 62, on Friday, November 27, 2020 of Bluemont, Virginia
Born Saturday, November 8, 1958 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Ira Singleton and the late Helen Singleton (Gurchak). Beloved wife of 40 years to George Evancheck; loving mother of Ashley Evancheck Morris (Brian) and Allyson Evancheck.
Natalie touched and inspired the lives of many with her energetic personality and undeniably positive outlook. Natalie enjoyed traveling and new experiences. She took great pleasure in helping and supporting her family and friends, and she had a soft spot in her heart for animals of all kinds.
Natalie was a graduate of Waynesburg University, a member of the Sigma Cappa sorority and the Pan-Hellenic Council. After graduating, Natalie met her soulmate and husband George, before they relocated to Texas and started a family. Several years later, the Evancheck family moved to Florida where her creative mind developed a passion for interior design. Their next chapter moved the family to Virginia where she established her design career. During this time, Natalie was an incredible role model for her daughters, and partnering with George her conceptual vision for their new home in Bluemont came to life. In retirement Natalie had many hobbies. She was an active board officer for local community and civic associations and still found time for other area women’s groups and organizations.
Natalie will be laid to rest at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA. A celebration of life will take place when it is safe for all to come together.
