Nelson Workman's Obituary
Mr. Nelson R. Workman, Jr. 63, died on April 11, 2008 at his home in Sterling, VA.
Mr. Workman was born on Oct. 29, 1944 in Sutton, WV; a son of the late Nelson R. Workman, Sr. and the late Mary Tinney Workman. Nelson served his country in the US Army. Since 1991, Mr. Workman has been the Founding Owner and Operator of Cardinal Heating & Cooling in Sterling, VA. Mr. Workman has been a past sponsor of the Upper Loudoun Baseball.
He is survived by his loving wife Marlene A. Workman of Sterling; his sons, Tod and daughter-in-law: Meredith of Round Hill, VA, and Ron and daughter-in-law: Kimberlee of Phoenix, AZ; his sister-in-law: Mary Louise Kaylor of Sterling.
Mr. Workman is also survived by six siblings, Jerry Workman of Winchester; Brenda Alvin of Zelienople, PA; Thomas Workman of Sterling, VA; Diane Schleicher of Pittsburgh, PA; Dale and David Workman both of Winchester; and four grandchildren, Tyler and Kyle Workman, Hannah Hall and Aaron Workman.
Friends may call on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 2 to 6 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA. Funeral services will follow on Monday April 14, 2008 at 11 am.
Graveside services and interment will follow in National Memorial Park in Falls Church, VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Evercare Hospice.
