OBITUARY INFORMATION
NEVA RHEA COATES, 88, of Sterling, Virginia since 2001 went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 24, 2012 in Leesburg. Mrs. Coates was born March 12, 1924 in Blodgett, Missouri to the late Jesse and Mazie Shaver Seawel. Her husband of 59 years, James Vaughn Coates, a son Gary S. Coates, and a sister Lou Beason, also predeceased her. She was a dental assistant for many years while living in St. Louis, MO. They retired near Pocahontas, Arkansas in 1992. Mrs. Coates most recently lived at the Cascades Villages in Sterling. She enjoyed card games, cooking, reading and church but she found her greatest joy being with her family and friends.
Mrs. Coates is survived by her beloved children: Pamela Gay Coates of Ashburn, VA, Gregg A. Coates of Novato, CA; a sister: Jestene Ashcraft of Midland, TX: a dear friend: Linda Rice of Ashburn, VA - and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services and Interment were held privately.
