Nicholas Michael Christos' Obituary
Nicholas Michael Christos, 86, of Ashburn, VA, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Loudoun Hospital.
Born on April 20, 1928 in Ashtabula, Ohio he was the son of the late Michael Christakos and the late Katherine Kokinakis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Zapata Christos.
He is survived by his children, Michael N. Christos and his wife, Shawna of Colonial Heights, VA, Thomas Christos and his wife Sandy of Wake Forest, NC and Catherine Rudd and her husband, Randy of Hamilton, VA; grandchildren, Allie Wilmoth, Steffen Christos, Kimberly Rudd and Victoria Rudd; and great-granddaughter, Naomi Grace Wilmoth.
The family received friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service was held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Greek Orthodox Parish of Loudoun County, 21580 Atlantic Blvd Bld. D #160 Dulles, VA 20166 with Father George Alexson officiating. Burial followed at Quantico National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3701 Pender Drive, Suite 400, Fairfax, VA 22030.
