NOVA REIGN GREEN, 4 of Leesburg, Virginia became an angel on Sunday, December 7, 2025, surrounded by family.
She was born on Monday, March 1, 2021, at Stone Springs Hospital Center in Dulles, Virginia.
She was the daughter of Tevin N. Holland and Martajia Raynell Green.
Nova was a bright and beautiful soul whose life, though far too short, was filled with courage, love, and extraordinary strength. From the very beginning, she faced challenges that no child should ever have to endure. Diagnosed with myotonic dystrophy at a young age, she fought every day with a resilience that amazed everyone who knew her. Against all odds, she continued to push forward, showing us what true bravery looks like in even the smallest of bodies.
Despite her medical battles, she brought light and joy into every room she entered. One of her greatest joys was watching Cocomelon—the music, colors, and songs brought her comfort and happiness, and her legs would kick with pure excitement.
A very special part of her journey was the bond she shared with her long-term nurse, Fifi, who became so much more than a caregiver. She was a constant presence in her life—working tirelessly day in and day out, providing not only medical care but unconditional love. She treated her like her own daughter, doing her hair, took her on walks, took her to visit Santa, they would sit in the front yard for hours and ensure she continued to work hard to strengthen her body and spirit. Their connection was one of trust, devotion, and deep love, and it meant the world to Nova.
Though her time with us was brief, the impact she made will last forever. She taught us about perseverance, unconditional love, and finding joy even in the hardest moments. She will always be remembered as a fighter, a miracle, and a precious angel who changed our lives in ways words can never fully express.
Nova leaves her family to cherish her memory including her parents, grandparents Brandy & John Holland; Kevin Holland, Sparkle Akwhale, Sammuel Robinson, siblings Imani Holland, Malachi Holland, Elias Holland, Za’riyah Green, Za’Mirah Green and Tayona Ellis, several great grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 1 to 2 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. Funeral service will follow the viewing and begin at 2:00 PM on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, at the family's request, donations may be made to the funeral home by calling or dropping off a donation to help defray final expenses.
