Odalia Irene Guerrero's Obituary
Odalia Irene Guerrero, 57, of Leesburg died on Sunday, December 30th 2012 at her home. Mrs. Guerrero was born August 17th 1955 in Guayaquil, Ecuador to the late Francisco Duran and Mrs. Odalia Kittyle. She studied at the University of Guayaquil to be a Pharmaceutical Chemist. While attending the university she met her husband Angel Guerrero-Heredia. They married December 21st,1978 and moved to the United States in 1981. They have lived in the upper north east over the years and have only recently moved to Virginia. She was an incredibly vibrant woman that will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, her magnetic personality, and her genuine love and concern for everyone around her.
Mrs. Guerrero is survived by her loving husband, Angel, four children: Christian Guerrero (Laura) of Whitehall, PA, Claire Starke (Greg) of Leesburg, VA, Kenneth Guerrero of Orlando, FL, Kimberly Guerrero of Basking Ridge, NJ; her mother and three sisters in Ecuador; a brother, Francisco Duran in Valley Stream, NY, five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 4th 2013 from 2 until 4pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE in Leesburg. A service will be held during the viewing at 3pm. Interment will be held privately at a later time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Relay for Life team, "ODALIA'S SUNSHINE", to raise money for cancer research and awareness.
