Olivia Rene Coverdale's Obituary
Olivia Rene Coverdale, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and loyal friend went to be with the Lord on Sunday October 4, 2015. She is survived by her parents, Jason and Sarah Coverdale, brother Jason Coverdale Jr., and sister Mallorie Coverdale. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Delbert Coverdale Jr. and her uncle William James Coverdale Sr.
Olivia was born on October 11, 2000 in Watertown, NY and remained there until the age of six. As a daughter of a military service member, Olivia had the opportunity to live in and visit many places across the country. Most recently, her residences included San Antonio, TX, Eglin AFB, FL, Richmond Hill, GA and Sterling, VA.
Olivia was a student attending Potomac Falls High School in Sterling, VA and was a member of the girl’s tennis team and the French Club. She dreamed of following in her Father’s footsteps and of serving in the United States military as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician. Subsequent to her passing, she will be posthumously named an honorary graduate of NAVSCOLEOD and awarded a Master EOD Badge by the United States Army.
The family will receive friends at 6:00 PM on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel in Leesburg, VA. A memorial service for Olivia will commence at 7:00 PM on the same evening.
In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions made to Olivia’s family will later be donated to charity in her name.
