Oneida Peri Cioffi's Obituary
Oneida Peri Cioffi of Ashburn, Va., passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at INOVA Loudoun Hospital at the age of 73 after a very short, but courageous bout with lung cancer.
She was born in Havana, Cuba, the daughter of the late Laureano and Angelica Mateo de Acosta Peri. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, MSgt, USA (ret.) Andrew Cioffi.
She was the Payroll Director for Peoples Drug Stores and retired from Experience Works. She is survived by her son, Gino A. Cioffi; daughter, Diana Snyder and her husband, David; grandchildren, Christopher and Alexandra. She is also survived by her brothers Laureano Peri whose wife, Marta is deceased and Armando Peri and his wife Teresa and a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends can pay their respects from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. Burial will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
