I am so sorry to hear about Ozgur's passing. I was unbelievably surprised. You have my deepest sympathy.
i had the privilege of working with Ozgur both at Mobil Oil in Fairfax and at GWU. Ozgur was one of my Project Managers at Mobil and I learned a lot from his work ethic. My favorite memory is walking into his cubicle after he had returned from a trip to Arizona. As many of you may know, photography was one of his passionate hobbies. As a fellow photographer, I really appreciated his talent. He taught me the importance of using a polarizer filter on sunny days to bring out the contrast of the clouds and sky. To this day, I think of Ozgur every time I use a polarizer. He was talented in so many ways.
I ran into Ozgur by accident at GWU about 7 years ago and had no idea he also made the move from Mobil to GWU. It felt good to have a fellow colleague and mentor from our former employer. As a Technical Analyst at GWU, I continued supporting Ozgur throughout the years and he has always been one of the friendliest and most professional person I encountered at GWU.
I will truly miss Ozgur and I pray God's blessings on his entire family.
