Palma "Pam" V. Kooch's Obituary
Palma V. "Pam" Kooch, 72, of Ashburn VA., formerly of Endwell, passed away June 17, 2014.
She is survived by her husband Jerry Kooch, daughter Mary and son-in-law Bill Apperson of Ashburn, VA., daughter Michele and son-in-law Jeff Cummings of Ashburn, VA., son Vince and daughter-in-law Stephanie Kooch of Brooklyn, NY, as well as four grandchildren, Josh and Anna Cummings, and Jimmy and Sarah Apperson. Pam is the daughter of Mary Vivona and the late James Vivona of Endwell, and sibling of the late Peter Vivona, Josephine Valicenti and Jack Vivona.
Born in Endicott, Pam graduated from Seton High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics Education from Marywood College. Her professional and personal interest in nutrition, cooking and sewing continued throughout her life.
Pam was gentle, sweet and kind. She was an adored wife, mother and grandmother. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, June 23, 2014 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Ashburn, VA with Father Richard Guest officiating. Burial will follow at Leesburg Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
