Patricia Harriet Kesterson's Obituary
Patricia Harriet Kesterson, 84 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
Born Thursday, February 6, 1941 to the late Sidney and Helen Rubin of Allentown, PA
Patti is survived by her loving family, including her son, Peter Kesterson of Ashburn, VA. Two Grandsons John (Jessica) and Matthew (Savannah), Two Great Great Grandsons Timothy and Ethan, two more Great Grandchildren about to be with us Sofia Juel Kesterson and John Peter Kesterson Jr, and her Sister Merra Lee Block. Patti was married to her beloved husband Joe for over 40 years until his passing in 2014. She also lost her other son Ron to an automobile accident when he was just 16.
Patti made her mark in the music industry for decades. She began as a singer/songwriter and piano player performing in the US and Caribbean. Later after starting a family she went into the retail piano industry where she really had an impact in the Mid Atlantic area managing many stores/regions for the storied Jordan Kitt's Music Company. After retirement and into her late 70's she went on the road for Yamaha Corp of America selling their pianos at Costco's all over the US.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to NAMM (National Association of Music Merhcants) or a local veterans organization in Patti's honor.
