Patricia Evelyn Lakeway's Obituary
Patricia Evelyn Lakeway, 86, died on Saturday, September 10th 2011 in Leesburg, Virginia. Mrs. Lakeway was born August 20th 1925 to the late George and Chrystal Burpee Naugler. Her husband of 57 years, Shirl Charles Lakeway also predeceased her in 2007. She studied nursing at Providence Bible Institute in Providence, RI before serving as a missionary in Tanzania for a few years. Mrs. Lakeway had a strong faith in God and enjoyed many years of teaching Sunday School at Eliot Baptist Church, Eliot, ME and prior to at Central Baptist Church in Portsmouth, NH. In more recent years at Morningside House in Leesburg, VA she enjoyed helping others and participating in Bible Studies. Mrs. Lakeway loved people and was a friend to all that met her.
Mrs. Lakeway is survived by her beloved sons: Shirl Lakeway, Jr, and Glenn Lakeway both of Leesburg; a daughter: Chrystal Henthorne of King George, VA; a brother: George Naugler of Orano, ME; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services and interment will be held in Maine at a later date.
