Patricia Miles Hudson's Obituary
PATRICIA MILES HUDSON, 78, of Leesburg, Virginia since the early 1970’s passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 in Lansdowne, Virginia. Mrs. Hudson was born March 21st 1932 in Washington, DC to the late Paul and Nancy Reynolds Miles. Her husband, James Mathew Hudson predeceased her in 2002. She was raised in Washington and received her B.A. degree from American University. Mrs. Hudson worked in banking as a secretary at National Savings & Trust and American Security & Trust, Washington, DC. For many years she was the Health and Safety Director of the Loudoun County Chapter of the American Red Cross and was a volunteer trainer in First Aid, CPR and Life Support. She also volunteered at Loudoun Memorial Hospital in the Medical Records Department.
Two brother-in-laws, two sister-in-laws, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends survive Mrs. Hudson.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE in Leesburg on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 6-9 PM and on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Calfee Funeral Home, 800 South Oakwood Avenue in Beckley, WV from 1:00 PM until time of services at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Calfee Cemetery at Mt. Tabor, WV.
