Patsy G. Longo's Obituary
Patsy Gail Longo, 60, of Sterling, VA, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family after an extended illness.
Born on May 17, 1954 in Welch, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late William Collins and the late Connie Lambert Collins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Edith Lausier; and brothers, Roy Pete Collins, William Dale Collins and Ray Collins.
Patsy was a long time member of the Loudoun Elks Lodge #2406 and also served as a member of the Honor Guard.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, John Longo; children, Dawn Longo-Schweickert and her husband, Patrick of Sterling, Sean Longo and his wife, Jennifer of Bluemont, and Steven Longo of Sterling; grandchildren, Aaron Schweickert, Bailey Longo and Tony Longo; and her sister Barbara Christian.
She was raised in Mullens West Virginai and was graduated from Mullens High School in 1972.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Optum Hospice for their care and support.
The family received friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service was held at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Steven Masters officiating. Burial followed at Leesburg Union Cemetery.
