Paul C. Allen Jr.'s Obituary
ASHBURN – Paul C Allen Jr., 70, of Ashburn, VA passed away on Wednesday at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington.
He was born on Sept. 4, 1945 in Blacksburg to Paul and Alice Allen.
On Aug. 10, 1996, he was united in marriage to Cecile Wallace. He is survived by five children: Christopher Allen (Danae), Yvette Allen (Beth), Myles Wallace (Karen), Emily Wallace, and Aaron Wallace (Christine). He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Hunter Allen, Harlee Allen, Caleb Wegner and Robert Wallace. He is preceded in death by a sister Sandra Maywer and four surviving siblings: Gary Allen, Woody Allen, Linda White, and William Allen.
Paul graduated High School from Blacksburg High in the Class of 1963. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War where he expanded his love for the sea. After Paul returned home from war, he went back to school earning an Associate’s Degree in Business. From there, he took on many professional endeavors including: Sales Manager at Shentool, Managing Director at Sematco, Business Owner of Allen’s Concepts & Solutions, and most recently retiring from Recruiting and Training for a private security company.
Paul had an immense love for family, friends, and animals. He spent his free time fishing, boating, and daily visits to the park to feed the birds and squirrels. He was widely known for his downright sense of humor and ability to make everyone feel welcome and at home.
Friends and Family may call from 12-2 on Saturday October 17 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel & Crematory. A funeral service will follow directly at 2:00pm.
