OBITUARY INFO
PAUL MORRIS NIDA, JR., 84, a resident of Leesburg, Virginia since 1971, died on Saturday December 3, 2005 in Leesburg, Virginia.
His five children survive Mr. Nida: Thomas Nida of Front Royal, Virginia, Larry S. Nida of Winchester, Virginia, Virginia Hargrove of Herndon, Virginia, James Nida of Fredericksburg, Virginia, William Nida of Haymarket, Virginia; 11 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. S.E. Leesburg, Virginia on Tuesday December 6, 2005 from 6:30-8:30 pm. Services will follow at the funeral home on Wednesday December 7, 2005 at 1:00pm with Pastor Tim MacGowan officiating.
Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Virginia.
Mr. Nida was born February 8, 1921 in Washington, D.C. to the late Paul M. Nida Sr. and the late Ruth Seever Nida. His beloved wife Anna May Nida predeceased him on March 17, 2005. Mr. Nida worked as an Air Traffic Controller for 34 years with the Federal Aviation Administration. He served his country as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Nida was a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church, VFW Post 1177 Leesburg, Virginia, and NARFE.
