Paul Samborski crossed to heaven on March 16, 2018. Born Boston, MA November 23, 1931 and grew up in Lexington, MA. Attended prep school at Governor Dummer Academy aka The Governor's Academy, Byfield, MA 1950. Served in U.S. Navy 1951 - 1954. Attended Harvard College Class of 1954. Virginia Theological Seminary, Alexandria, VA. Class of 1968. Long time Alexandria, VA resident. Parents Adolph and Helen Donovan Samborski, both predeceased.
Best husband in the whole wide world and God's greatest and most precious gift to Mary Kathryn (née Smith) Samborski. Together 42 years.
Survived by loving sister and brother-in-law Ellen and Nicoloas Difantis, brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Lisa Samborski all of York, Maine. Predeceased by son Kristoph from previous marriage, sister and brother-in-law Mary Jane
(née Samborski) Conley and Robert Conley.
Paul shared his many special talents including painting in oils like Rembrandt. Prolific and varied paintings. Played musical instruments including antique pump organ, piano, flute, Russian balalaika and known for his love of singing.
The family extends many thanks to Inova Loudoun Hospital caregivers especially clinic technicians Ivana, Riley and Mae. Paul and Mary Kathryn have been living in Ashburn VA at an independent senior complex for the past few years. Private military burial at Quantico National Cemetery.
