Pauline Corum's Obituary
Pauline Corum departed this life on August 28, 2007 at the Loudoun Long Term Care.
She was known to her friends, relatives, and family members as “Lean Meat” and
“Old Lady”. Pauline was born on August 21, 1932 in Loudoun, to the late Susie and Richard Corum.
Pauline attended Loudoun County public schools. She was a childcare provider for many years. Pauline was a loving mother and grandmother who would get up early in the morning to cook and clean the house before her favorite shows, the Price is Right and the Soap Operas, came on. She loved to party and have a good time with her friends. The Redskins were her favorite team when it was time for the football season…she didn’t care if they won or lost, it still was her team. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Susie and Richard Corum, five brothers, Richard Jr., Tom, Fred, James, John Henry, and two sisters, Ella Corum and Mary Hughes, 1 grandchild, Tyree Hughes and 1 great grandchild, Chyna Hughes. She leaves to cherish her memories, 3 daughters, Martha Corum, Alice Lee, Geraldine Morris, 2 sons, Richard Corum and Jessie Corum, two sisters, Margaret Thompson and Mildred Lee, 3 son-in laws, George Morris, Ervin Lee, and Lonnie Branham, 2 daughter-in-laws, Anna Corum and Mary Alice Corum, 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 11am, at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel. Interment was in Gleedsville Cemetery.
