Peggy Ann Dellinger's Obituary
PEGGY ANN DELLINGER, 77, of Sterling, Virginia since 1968 died on Wednesday, April 7th 2010 in Leesburg, Virginia. Mrs. Dellinger was born February 1, 1933 in Thurmont, Maryland to the late Curtis R. Weddle, Sr. and Beulah M. Troxell Weddle. Her daughter, Karen S. Dellinger, three brothers, Reginald K. Weddle, Curtis R. Weddle Jr., James Weddle and two sisters, Shirley “Sally” Wellinghurst and Barbara W. Freeze also predeceased her. Mrs. Dellinger was a member of the Apples United Church of Christ in Thurmont, MD.
Mrs. Dellinger is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, William E. Dellinger of Sterling; three sons: Stephen E. Dellinger and wife, Sally of Hamilton, VA, William “Billy” R. Dellinger of Sterling, Jeffrey T. Dellinger of Leesburg; daughter: Tamra M. Blackburn of Rixeyville, VA; three grandchildren: Stephen E. Dellinger, II, Shannon L. Dellinger, Stefanie C. Dellinger; two brothers: Donald G. Weddle of Thurmont, Jerry L. Weddle of Hagerstown, MD; a special friend of the family, Larry Douglas and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mrs. Dellinger was employed by the FBI, Woolco and retired from Faraday Industries in 1994. She enjoyed classical music, attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and being with her family.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, April 12th 2010 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA with Pastor David Janney officiating.
Interment will be held privately.
