Phyllis Myers Geiman's Obituary
Phyllis Myers Geiman, 79 of Leesburg, Virginia passed, with her family beside her, on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester, Virginia.
She was born Wednesday, March 18, 1936 in Winchester, Virginia. The eldest of three, she was a daughter of the late Charles M. James, Sr., and the late Margaret Fleming James.
A native of Loudoun County, Phyllis graduated from Lincoln High School in 1954. She worked independently in sales throughout her life. She was a long time member of LUMC and previously sang in the choir.
She was an avid gardener, loved to travel all over the world. She loved animals but was most fond of cats, for which she always had one.
She leaves her family to cherish her memory including her sons, Guy Geiman and spouse Lee Braithwaite of Winchester, VA and Michael Geiman and spouse Kim of Beach Park, IL; 7 grandchildren, Michael Paul, Jason, Kristopher, Riley, Tanisha, Tyanna,and Tyler Geiman; and 3 great grandchildren, Makayla, Mallory, and Allyssa. She is also survived by a niece Kim Rowlands and her spouse Drew of Carlsbad CA.
Phyllis was predeceased by her sister Mickey and brother Matt James.
Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
The family will receive guests from 12 to 1 pm for visitation on Wednesday prior to the services.
Interment will be in Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, VA.
