I met Phyllis and her sisters many decades ago in the 80s while working at Time Life Books. We all became instant friends and shared many memories. Phyllis was very gregarious, intelligent and kind. I will miss you my friend.

I'm sorry I can't attend the service. I worked with Phyllis on her personal development after her illnesses compromised her quality of life. She was determined to rise above her circumstances and worked to increase her independence and to strengthen her marriage. Phyllis raved about how patient and loving her husband had been as her primary caregiver. She wanted to get better to relieve his stress. I was impressed that, even with the things she had going on, she was able to think about what Ray was going through. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to engage with someone of her ilk. She is already missed.

Phyllis was one of the first few individuals I worked with at Verizon, Our first meeting was in May 2019 and she was the IT Project Manager for a key project. She was so informed, helpful and had a can do attitude. Through all these years we had our annual touch base every October. The last was 10/12/2023. I had sent her an email on 8/26/2024 to set our 2024 touchbase.
Phyllis was strong, optimistic and courageous. We talked about our families. Thanksgiving and the holidays. Her screen saver was a butterfly and I will always remember her like that - a beautiful spirit. May she rest in peace.

I had been working with Phyllis the past few months at Verizon and she was such a wonderful person. Through her struggles she always remained positive and I will always remember her as being someone who no matter what would get her job done to the fullest. She was sweet and always kind and I hope she is at peace. Prayers and love to her family at this time. 💕
Phyllis and I worked together at Verizon. Her passion and dedication was so admirable. We kept in touch, talked about her Bears and my Buccaneers and what kind of season our teams would have. I was saddened to hear of her passing. May her soul rest in peace.
