Pilkyu Kim's Obituary
Dr. Pilkyu Kim, 70,
passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010. Dr. Kim was a professor at the University of Maryland University College, where he was chair of the Political Science department before he retired in 2007. Dr. Kim also taught at UMUC divisions in Asia and Europe during his long career as a scholar and professor. He is survived by his beloved wife, Esther Bocksoon Kim, a daughter, Dr. Bonnie Sue Kim, a sister and three brothers. Friends may call on Tuesday, December 7 th 2010 at the Ashburn Presbyterian Church, 20962 Ashburn Rd., Ashburn, VA from 10am until time of services at 11:00am. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA.
