Ramon P. Madrid's Obituary
Commodore Ramon Perez Madrid, Armed Forces of the Philippines (MNSA) 80, of Hamilton, VA, died Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at Loudoun Hospital Center/ Cornwall Unit in Leesburg, VA.
Born on August 31, 1926 in Manila, Philippines. He was the son of the late Jose D. Madrid and the late Visitacion Perez Madrid. Ramon was a graduate of the United States Merchant Marines Academy in 1950.
He is survived by his daughters, Daphne Samonte Madrid of San Francisco, CA, and Moira (Madrid) and Rodger Spahr and granddaughter Giselle Spahr all of Springfield, VA; son, Joel Samonte Madrid, M.D. of Hamilton, VA; sisters, Cresencia M. Ello of Port Charlotte, FL, Ana M. Romillo of Port Charlotte, FL; and brother, Rodolfo Madrid of Quezon City, Philippines.
Commodore Madrid was predeceased by his wife Esther Samonte Madrid in May of 1984. He was also predeceased by three children, Raymond S., Audrey S. and Mary Rose S. Madrid, his sister Dionisia P. Madrid.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, VA, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 8 PM Saturday, November 4, 2006; and from 2 to 8pm Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, St. Frances Lane, Purcellville, VA, at 11:00 AM Monday, November 6, 2006.
Interment will be at St. John''s Catholic Church Cemetery in Leesburg, Virginia.
